Market View
The Polysights Trading Terminal is the most informed way to trade prediction markets. Harness all of Polysights data and analytics all under one roof.
The terminal is desktop-only. On a phone, open a market from Markets and use Trade in the side panel.
The Main Trading Terminal provides access to live market data and in-depth analytics across every market vertical, helping you monitor opportunities and make informed trading decisions in real time.
To begin trading, first select your intended market from the Market Drop Down Menu.
Within the Drop Down Menu, you are able to search for any specific Market or Event. You can also further refine the search to only pull options from specifically Markets, Events, Saved Markets, or Markets you have open trades on.
Once you select a Market, a quick link to the Events View will appear beneath the Market's title if it is associated with a specific event.
To the right of the Market Selection, you will see additional information on the selected market.
From left to right, you can view Current Liquidity, Current Volume, When the Market Expires, 24h Volume, and the Current Spread within the Orderbook.
Use the buttons on the right side to Adjust your Polysights Layout, Bookmark the Market, Share a Link to the Market, or Browse the Market Directly on Polymarket.
On the right side, you will see your Trading Hub. Within the Trading Hub, you can place Market Orders, Limit Orders or choose from a selection of advanced orders such as TWAP, Iceberg, Pegged, and Trailing Orders.
When placing an order you will see an order summary at the bottom of the Trading Hub. This includes Total Cost of Order, Number of Shares, as well as your Profit if your trade is correct. Use the summary to confirm your order is as intended.
Once an order is placed, you will receive a confirmation message. At this point, the position will be active and viewable under the Positions Tab.
In the bottom panel you will find additional information about the selected market.
Overview: The Overview Section provides you with Market Context. Event contracts are not always completely straightforward. This section aims to make them as straight forward as possible.
In Overview you will also find a tab that directs you to the exact Market Rules pulled directly from Polymarket. These rules are the source of truth for how a given market will resolve. It's always recommended to understand them before placing a trade.
Positions: The Positions tab is where you will be able to view your current open positions for the selected market.
From here, you can review your trade details, view the current PnL for individual trades, and see all open trades within the market.
You can also set Take Profit and Stop Loss orders or Quick Sell a position. Any active Take Profit or Stop Loss orders will appear beneath the associated position, allowing you to review the orders currently open for each trade.
Orders: The Orders tab displays any open Limit or Advanced Orders you have placed. The progress bar shows how much of each order has been filled, and you can use the Cancel button to cancel any remaining unfilled amount. Once an order is fully filled, it will disappear from your open orders, and the resulting position will appear in the Positions tab. You can use the History tab to review your previously filled or cancelled orders.
Metrics: The Metrics tab allows you to see a variety of Standard and Advanced Metrics pertaining to the currently selected market
Standard Metrics
Advanced Metrics
The Orderbook widget can be found on the left side of the main view. It displays all active buy and sell orders within the selected market, along with the spread and mid price.
The dollar value shown at each price level is cumulative, meaning it includes the liquidity at that level and all levels below it. The liquidity bars on the left provide a visual representation of the total liquidity available at each level, with longer bars indicating greater market depth.
Spread: The spread is the difference between the highest bid and the lowest ask, representing the cost to trade immediately and a measure of market liquidity.
Mid: The mid is the price exactly halfway between the best bid and best ask, often used as an estimate of the market's current fair value.
The Recent Trades tab displays every recent trade within the market, including the time it was placed, whether it was a buy or sell, the execution price, the order value and the trader's wallet. You can click the trader's name to open their profile page and view more information about their trading activity and performance.
The Top Holders tab allows you to see insights into the top holders of each YES/NO position. Each entry showcases the trader's name, lifetime PnL, win rate, position value, as well as the collective win rate and PnL of all top holders on each yes/no side. You can also click the trader's name in this section to open their profile page and view more information about their trading activity and performance.
The Insider Finder displays a card view of trades flagged as potential insider activity. Each card provides information about the trader, trade size, market activity, and Radar Score. You can sort the results by Radar Score, Most Recent, or Trade Size.
Trades shown by the Insider Finder are identified using activity-based signals and are not guaranteed to be insider trades.

Event View
Event View brings all related markets for a single event into one unified workspace, allowing you to compare outcomes, monitor liquidity, and analyze market activity without switching between pages.
Any market that can be viewed in Event View has a quick link under the market title for fast navigation between the two views.
The Odds Distribution panel groups all markets within an event by their implied probability and compares the number of markets in each range with their corresponding 24-hour trading volume.
Liquidity Distribution displays how the event's total available liquidity is divided across each market. The stacked bar provides a visual representation of each market's share of total liquidity, while the table lists the market's current implied odds and its percentage of the event's total liquidity.
The Current Odds Profile provides a snapshot of the latest implied probability for every market within the event. Each bar represents a market's current odds, allowing you to quickly compare the relative likelihood of every outcome. Clicking on any of the bars within Odds View will direct you to the individual market.
The History tab visualizes how each market's implied probability has changed over time. Track price movements across all outcomes, identify trends and momentum shifts, and analyze how new information has impacted market sentiment throughout the life of the event.
The Markets Bar allows you to hone in on an individual market within the event. Click on a given market to open up its individual historical chart.
Charts can be viewed in line and candle views, as well as 5m, 1h, 4h, and 1d perspectives.
The Events Overview tab shows you the rules for the specific market, as well as additional market context information about the selected event.
This area also includes Positions, Orders, and Metrics tabs congruent with the Markets View.

Markets Side Bar
The Markets Sidebar displays every market available within the selected event, along with its current odds, YES and NO prices, 24-hour trading volume, and 24-hour price change. You can sort the list by clicking the volume or odds buttons. Select any market to open its full market trading view. The total number of available markets is shown at the top of the sidebar.
Terminal Widget
The Terminal Widget allows you to quickly buy or sell shares in a market from Main or Events view. Execute simple market and limit orders, or go advanced with our suite of expert trading tools built in.
User Interface
To begin placing a trade, first select if you are buying or selling shares in the top right-hand corner. Then select if you are placing your order on the YES or NO side.
Select the type of order you would like to place. Default types are Market and Limit orders. The Pro section features advanced orders like TWAP, Iceberg, Pegged, and Trailing, which will be covered later on.
Next, input the amount you would like to purchase. Enter values in USD, or use the toggle in the top right-hand corner to toggle from USD to Shares.
For convenience, you can use the slider, as well as the % buttons, to set your position to a certain % of your current available cash.
Use the Take Profit and Stop Loss toggle buttons to set up your trade's safeguards.
Take Profit: Automatically sells your shares when the market price reaches your chosen target, helping you secure a profit.
Stop Loss: Automatically sells your shares when the market price falls to your chosen level, helping limit potential losses.
As you adjust your order, your Total Cost, Total Shares, Profit, and Total Winnings + Stake will update.
To complete your order, simply click the Buy/Sell button.
Once placed, your order will be visible under the Positions tab, both within the Trading Terminal, and on your Portfolio page.
For a better view of your entries and open orders on the candle chart itself, you can use the view button (eyeball). The button is found on both the orders and Positions tabs.
Clicking the button in each tab will display your current entry and open orders on the graph.
For limit orders specifically, you can drag your limit order on the graph to reposition it at a different entry without the need to go through the terminal flow again.
Order Types
In the UI section above, we covered the most basic order type, Market Orders. However, the Polysights Trading Terminal features an entire suite of useful basic and advanced order types for all types of traders and situations.
Limit Order: Places an order to buy or sell shares only at your chosen price or better. The order remains open until it is filled or cancelled.
Select your Limit Price manually, or use the BID/FAK buttons in the top right-hand corner.
- Bid: Sets the limit price to the current highest price a buyer is willing to pay.
- Fill and Kill (FAK): Executes as much of your limit order as possible immediately at your specified price or better. Any portion that cannot be filled immediately is automatically canceled.
Once placed, open Limit Orders will appear on the Orders tab of the Trading Terminal, as well as on your personal Portfolio page. The blue progress bar will fill as your order is filled.
Use the Eye Icon to toggle the ability to see your limit price on the market graph itself. The Pencil Icon allows you to edit the currently selected limit price. And finally, click the Cancel Button to remove the limit order from the orderbook.
TWAP Order (Time Weighted Average Price): Breaks a large order into smaller trades and places them gradually over a set period to reduce the order's impact on the market price.
To place a TWAP Order, you will first need to set up its parameters. The settings open in Simple mode: pick a pace and the terminal does the rest.
Pace: Slow places one clip every 10 minutes, Normal every 5 minutes, Fast every minute. Each clip is sized just over the exchange minimum (6 shares and $1.20) so it always goes through, and the total duration follows from your amount. The Schedule line shows how long the order will run.
Switch to Advanced for the fields below. Advanced starts from the Simple schedule, so you can adjust from there.
Duration: The total length of time over which the TWAP order will run.
Every: How often the TWAP places each smaller portion (clip) of the order during that period.
Clip size: How much each clip carries, in shares or dollars.
You only set two of the three. Once your order size is entered, the terminal works out the third and marks it Auto. Typing in an Auto field takes it over, and the field you touched least recently becomes Auto instead. A clip size you type is a floor: the total is split evenly, so every clip comes out at least that size, and never below the 5 share / $1 minimum. Type something smaller and the timing is worked out for the minimum instead.
- Ex. Duration 5m > Every 30s = 10 Order Clips
- Ex. 100 shares, Duration 5m > Clip size 10 sh = Every 30s
- Ex. 100 shares, Every 30s > Clip size 25 sh = 4 clips over 2m
Next, set your Execution Style. Choose from Passive and Active Execution.
Active: Each smaller order crosses the spread to fill immediately, prioritizing speed and completion.
Passive: Each smaller order is placed on the order book and waits to be filled, which may achieve a better price but does not guarantee execution.
When configuring your TWAP order, each clip must contain at least 5 shares and have a minimum value of $1.
Before placing the order, check the Estimated Clip Size section. Both the share quantity and dollar value must appear in green. If either appears in red, adjust your order settings until both minimum requirements are met.
Once the TWAP is placed, the open order will be viewable in the Orders tab within the Trading Terminal.
You can view execution in real time. The timer on the left side of the blue fill bar indicates the progress through your set duration. Clips will be placed based on the TWAP parameters set.
Once a clip has been placed, the exact transaction details are viewable under the clips dropdown at the bottom.
Once a TWAP Order has been completed, the order will drop off of the Orders tab, and you will be able to find your position on both the Positions tab and within your personal portfolio section.
Iceberg Order
Iceberg Order: Breaks a large order into smaller portions, displaying only one portion on the order book at a time. As each portion fills, the next is automatically placed until the full order is completed.
To place an Iceberg Order, set your desired limit price and clip size. Each clip must contain at least 1 share and have a value greater than $1.
Use the Positions tab to monitor your active Iceberg Order and see how much has been filled. The blue progress bar fills as each clip is completed.
Expand the order to view each completed clip, including its share amount, fill price, total value, and execution time. You can also cancel any remaining unfilled portion.
Once a clip is placed, your active position can be viewed in the Positions tab, as well as your personal Portfolio Page.
Pegged Order
Pegged Order: A limit order that automatically adjusts its price to follow a selected point on the order book, helping it remain competitive as the market moves.
A Pegged Order automatically follows the current Best Bid, keeping your buy order competitive as prices change without requiring manual updates.
Use the Offset to control how close your order stays to the Best Bid, while the Price Floor and Price Ceiling prevent it from moving outside your chosen range.
- Ex. Offset 1 > Best Bid 90c > Aims for 89c on buy / 91c on Sell
- Ex. Price Floor = 90c > Price Ceiling = 95% > Will never place a limit order outside of that range.
Once your Pegged Order is placed, a line will appear on the chart showing its current limit price. The line automatically moves as the Best Bid changes, allowing you to track where your order is positioned in real time.
The Orders tab lets you monitor your active Pegged Order and its fill progress. Once an order is placed, you can view its current limit price, status, share amount, and total value.
A Resting status means the order is waiting on the order book to be filled. As the Best Bid changes, the limit price updates automatically within your selected price range. You can also view the order on the chart or cancel it at any time.
Trailing Order
Trailing Order: Automatically follows the market price using your chosen trailing offset.
Buy Trailing Orders (Coming Soon): Follow the market downward and execute after the price rebounds by the specified amount.
Sell Trailing Orders: Follow the market upward and execute after the price falls by the specified amount.
Your Trailing Offset determines how closely the order follows the market before it is triggered.
- Smaller offsets (e.g. 1–3%) follow the market more closely and trigger sooner. This can help capture quick reversals but may also cause the order to execute during normal market fluctuations.
- Larger offsets (e.g. 5–10%+) give the market more room to move before triggering. This can help avoid premature execution in volatile markets but may result in entering or exiting further away from the turning point.
When choosing an offset, consider how much the market typically fluctuates. More volatile markets often benefit from a larger offset, while more stable markets may be suitable for a smaller one.
Once placed, the order will be viewable in your Orders tab. This shows the order is currently tracking the market's highest price, shown as the Peak. As the price reaches new highs, the trailing stop automatically moves up with it, maintaining the selected 5.0% Trailing Offset.
The progress indicator displays how close the current market price is to reaching the trailing stop. In this example:
- Peak Price: 45.5¢
- Trailing Offset: 5.0%
- Current Stop Price: 43.2¢
If the market continues to rise above 45.5¢, both the Peak and Stop prices will increase automatically. If the market instead falls to 43.2¢, the trailing order will trigger and execute the sell.
You can edit the order using the Edit button or cancel it at any time by selecting Cancel.
Order Animations
These animated diagrams show how each Pro order type behaves on the chart. They are the same explainers shown in the terminal's order-type menu. A green B bubble marks a buy clip and a red S bubble marks a sell, while the bar underneath tracks position size building up or drawing down as the strategy runs. Placement is temporary for now while we reformat this page.
Buy Side
Evenly spaced buys on a timer, building position size toward an average entry regardless of price.
A hidden buy resting at one price below the market. Only one small clip shows on the book, filling each time price sells into that level.
A buy that steps its price up with the market, filling as it goes and stopping when it reaches the floor or ceiling you set.
Sell Side
Evenly spaced sells on a timer, drawing the position down at an average exit regardless of price.
A hidden sell resting at one price above the market. Only one small clip shows on the book, filling each time price rallies into that level.
A sell that steps its price down with the market, selling the position down and stopping at the floor or ceiling you set.
A stop that ratchets up beneath the highs and never falls. When price finally reverses back to it, the whole position is sold.
